InkCrab

Eat. Grow. Find a bigger shell.

For fans of Another Crab’s Treasure and Feeding Frenzy.

10chapters

100levels

Out Oct 11Updated Oct 17

A hermit crab game drawn in ballpoint pen. Dig through a beach cut open like an ant farm, eat what you find, and trade up into ever-bigger shells, but swapping leaves you soft and defenceless for a moment.

Out-race rival crabs to empty shells, lead a vacancy chain of little crabs behind you, and keep out of sight of gulls, foxes and the rising tide across ten beaches, from coral atolls to frozen shingle.

Questions

Is InkCrab free to play?
Yes. The whole first chapter is free, with no sign-up and no ads. The rest of the game is a one-time purchase of $4.99: no subscription, no ads and nothing more to buy.
Is InkCrab like Another Crab’s Treasure?
Like Another Crab’s Treasure, you are a hermit crab trading up into bigger shells, but InkCrab is a small 2D arcade game, not a Soulslike. Like Feeding Frenzy, you eat to grow: dig through the sand, outgrow your shell, race rival crabs to the next one and hide from gulls, foxes and the tide. InkCrab is our own game and isn’t made by or connected to the makers of Another Crab’s Treasure or Feeding Frenzy.
Do I need to download InkCrab?
No. InkCrab runs full-screen in your web browser, on a computer, phone or tablet. You can also add it to your home screen and open it like an app.
Does my progress save?
Yes, in your browser, as you play. Sign in with Google or your email if you want to carry on from the same place on another device.
Are there more games like this?
Yes. 16bit.ink releases a new small game every Sunday, all in the same pen-and-ink style. The All Games Pass unlocks all of them, and every game still to come, for a one-time $14.99.
