InkPin

Pull the pins. Get the gold. Get out.

For fans of Pull the Pin and Homescapes.

3/5chapters

50levels

Out Nov 1

The pin puzzle from the mobile ads, made into a whole game — and without the ads. Nib, a raccoon ruin explorer, goes after the treasure of five lost ruins: pull the golden pins in the right order so the gold pours down to him and the lava, bad air and the ruins’ animal guards never touch him.

Everything is simulated for real: water cools lava into stone, gas blasts cracked walls, coins pour like sand. Gate pins push back in to cut a flow mid-pour, pins block pins, and some rooms are two screens tall. Get the relic, sweep the room for gold, and get Nib out.

Questions

Is InkPin free to play?
Yes. The whole first chapter is free, with no sign-up and no ads. The rest of the game is a one-time purchase of $4.99: no subscription, no ads and nothing more to buy.
Is InkPin like Pull the Pin?
It is the pin puzzle from those mobile ads: pull golden pins in the right order so the treasure flows to the hero and the danger misses him. Here it is the whole game — 50 pin puzzles, no town to renovate, no ad after every pull. Every level is read-it-then-pull: water, lava, gold and the guards always do the same thing, so a loss comes from your order, never from luck. InkPin is our own game and isn’t made by or connected to the makers of Pull the Pin or Homescapes.
Do I need to download InkPin?
No. InkPin runs full-screen in your web browser, on a computer, phone or tablet. You can also add it to your home screen and open it like an app.
Does my progress save?
Yes, in your browser, as you play. Sign in with Google or your email if you want to carry on from the same place on another device.
Are there more games like this?
Yes. 16bit.ink releases a new small game every Sunday, all in the same pen-and-ink style. Each starts with a free chapter.
